Introduction

Well, here I am. Thanks Graham. ;)

I'm here because I wanted a space to occasionally write down those thoughts or stories that surface out of life. Hence the name. Perhaps it's the part of me that wants a little more creativity in my current existence, an outlet for writing that is purely what I want it to be and doesn't require research. An opportunity to be silly or serious, thoughtful or ridiculous. And to be honest, this blog now exists in large part because I occasionally go somewhere interesting enough that I want to keep my friends and family updated, but I have gotten worse and worse at remembering email addresses when I leave. My cousin, Graham, gave me rather a hard time when I returned from my last trip, for not including him on the list (I deserved it). This way, everyone should be happy!

So, a blog. It is unlikely to be updated very often, but will be on occasion, and an RSS feed is a wonderful thing. :) To start things off, I will upload my few updates from a trip to Guatemala earlier this year, which many of you may have read, but some of you may not have (see above statement about choosing the wrong email addresses). Hopefully that's a good beginning!
